The second phase of the Dialysis Centre at St. George Hospital, Vazhakulam was inaugurated at a special function held on January 1, 2026, at the hospital premises. The expanded facility is expected to strengthen dialysis services and provide better treatment support for patients suffering from kidney-related ailments in the region.
The inauguration was performed by Sojan Joseph, Member of Parliament, United Kingdom, in the presence of hospital authorities, community leaders, and well-wishers.
The dialysis centre project was sponsored by the K J Joseph Charitable Foundation (KKJJCF). K. J. Joseph, Chairman of the foundation, attended the event and addressed the gathering. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of providing accessible and affordable dialysis treatment to patients who require continuous care.
Speakers at the function highlighted that the second phase expansion would significantly increase the hospital’s capacity to serve more patients and help reduce the financial and logistical burden faced by families requiring regular dialysis treatment.
The hospital management expressed gratitude to the K J Joseph Charitable Foundation and all supporters who contributed to making the project possible, noting that the facility will benefit a large number of patients from Vazhakulam and surrounding areas.
