In a powerful move to address growing mental health concerns in rural Kerala, the K.J. Joseph Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with the Ernakulam Mehac Foundation and Poothanikad Grama Panchayat, is launching a comprehensive Mental Health Support Program.

The initiative, set to begin on July 4, 2025, aims to provide consistent, accessible, and professional mental health care for individuals in and around the Koottappillil region.

  Services Offered

This mental health project is designed to address various psychological challenges faced by individuals across different age groups. The services offered include:

Counseling and psychiatric treatment for those suffering from mental health issues

Free medication as part of treatment plans

De-addiction counseling to help individuals overcome substance abuse

Learning support counseling for children with developmental or academic difficulties

These services are aimed at uplifting the mental well-being of individuals through professional support and scientifically-backed treatment methods.
