സാമൂഹിക ക്ഷേമത്തിനും മാനസികാരോഗ്യാവബോധത്തിനുമായി പുതിയ അധ്യായമായി മാറുന്ന മാനസികാരോഗ്യ പദ്ധതി, 2025 ജൂൺ 6 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച, ഉച്ചക്ക് 2 മണിക്ക്, കൂറ്റപ്പിള്ളിൽ ചരിറ്റബിൾ ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ, ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ എം.എൽ.എ.ഡോ. മാത്യൂ കുഴൽനാടൻ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം നിലവിലെ സാമൂഹിക സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മനഃശാസ്ത്രസഹായം ലഭ്യമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ അത്യാവശ്യകതയെക്കുറിച്ചും ഈ പദ്ധതി അതിനുള്ള ശക്തമായ തുടക്കമാണെന്നുമാണ് വേദിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞത്.
കൂറ്റപ്പിള്ളിൽ ചരിറ്റബിൾ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ ചെയർമാനായ ശ്രീ. കെ. ജെ. ജോസഫ് , ചടങ്ങിൽ അതിഥി സാന്നിധ്യമായിരുന്നു. മാനസികക്ഷേമത്തിനായി ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ നടത്തിവരുന്ന ദീർഘകാല സേവനങ്ങളെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രമേയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, സമൂഹത്തിലെ എല്ലാ വിഭാഗങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയുള്ള പദ്ധതിയാണിത് എന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകർ, വിദ്യാഭാസ രംഗത്തെ പ്രമുഖർ, സമൂഹ പ്രവർത്തകർ, നാട്ടിലെ ജനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവരടങ്ങിയിരുന്നതാണ് ചടങ്ങ്. പരിപാടിയിൽ സാംസ്കാരിക പരിപാടികളും അവബോധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും പദ്ധതിയുടെ പ്രധാന ഘടകങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിശദീകരണങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു.
പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി സൗജന്യ കൗൺസലിംഗ് സേവനങ്ങൾ, പ്രാദേശിക പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ മുന്നോട്ടുവെക്കാൻ പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്. അതുവഴി, മനഃശാസ്ത്രപരിചരണത്തിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രാപ്യത വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും അതിന്റെ അപമാനബോധം കെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യാനാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം..
Mental Health Project Inauguration Ceremony Held at Pothanikkad
Pothanikkad, Kerala – June 6, 2025
In a powerful step towards advancing mental health awareness and community wellbeing, the Mental Health Project was officially inaugurated on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Koottappillil Charitable Foundation Auditorium, Pothanikkad.
The event was graced by Dr. Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA, who presided over the inauguration as the Chief Guest. Delivering an inspiring address, Dr. Kuzhalnadan emphasized the growing importance of accessible mental health support systems in today’s society and commended the organizers for initiating such a vital community project.
Also present at the ceremony was Shri. K. J. Joseph Koottappillil, Chairman of the Koottappillil Charitable Foundation. In his keynote message, Shri. Joseph underlined the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to social welfare and mental wellness, reaffirming its dedication to providing sustainable and inclusive mental health programs for all age groups.
The inauguration ceremony brought together health professionals, local leaders, educators, social workers, and members of the public in a collective call to break the stigma surrounding mental health. The event featured cultural performances, awareness presentations, and an outline of the Mental Health Project’s upcoming initiatives—ranging from free counselling sessions and awareness camps.
This project aims to bridge gaps in access to psychological care by making support services both community-driven and culturally sensitive. It promises to be a cornerstone for mental wellness in the region.
